About

Creative consultant and design director with a passion for bringing ideas to life. From strategic planning, storytelling, design management, copywriting & content creation to UX design, I have over 15 years’ experience building and transforming meaningful brands with a purpose-driven strategy and creative philosophy.

After a few years on the West Coast and a couple more in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, I’m happy to once again call Atlanta home. I now spend my time consulting brands to grow their business, as well as freelance for local startups, non-profits and corporate clients.

Most recently I was a co-founder and creative lead at the Marquette-based creative consultancy agency North Coast Post. During my time in the Upper Peninsula, I helped build the company into a thriving small business that garnered love from the press, a Distinguished Service Award from the Lake Superior Community Partnership for economic development in Marquette County, and even a shout-out from Larry King.

Prior to founding North Coast Post, I was a Senior Designer and Design Manager for CNN domestic on-air programming and Graphic & Web Designer for the Office of Communications and Marketing at Harvey Mudd College. It was during this time at HMC where I met and worked under Atlanta-based brand strategy agency Mindpower during the College’s rebranding process. Mindpower’s authentic approach to marketing combined with the College’s Mission “to assume leadership in your field with a clear understanding of the impact of your work on society” was the creative catalyst that inspired me to apply this type of thinking to my own business, as well as to others.

I’ve also worked as a graphic & web designer, mobile application designer, print & publication designer, art director, project manager, writer, copy editor, contributor, and branding & marketing consultant for various clients and projects which include: Boston Lyric Opera, Caltech Fund, Deloitte, Evolver, Inc., Falling Rock Café and Bookstore, Fresenius Medical Care, Georgia Justice Project, Larry King, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Marquette Chamber of Commerce, MTI Baths, NeuroTrainer, Oh Baby! Fitness, Pitzer College, The Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology, Respectful Ways, and The Taft School.

I believe that great design has the power to educate, inspire and ignite change. When I’m not creating on-screen, you can find me with a variety of collaborators—including my husband and three children—developing a vision for the everyday and an organized way of making things more beautiful.
